Lectures

Our lecturing programme is a hidden gem in the world of arts education. To ensure that each of these lectures delivers the desired impact and quality, The Arts Society has established its own accreditation system for lecturers. Drawn from freelance arts and heritage professionals, many represent the finest cultural institutions in the world. Our directory of lecturers lists 4,700 different titles of arts and heritage subjects.

Our programme of lectures runs from September to June, on the 2nd Wednesday of each month, with the exception of April. Starting at 10.30am prompt, refreshments are on sale from 10am. We meet in Bolton-By-Bowland Village Hall, which is in the Main Street of Bolton-by-Bowland, BB7 4NW.

In winter months it might be necessary to cancel the lecture due to bad weather, please check on the website for advice. There is also an un-manned telephone number you can ring giving advice on 07528 239574.
