The tour programme will include visits to: The Spanish Gallery at Bishop Auckland, Alnwick Gardens, Cragside House & Gardens (NT), Floors Castle, the Angel of the North, Lindesfarne Castle (NT), Bamburgh, Durham (guided tour), Durham Cathedral and an optional boat trip to the Farne Islands (NT) on day 4. We will stay on half-board basis at the 3* Best Western Plus Gibside Hotel, (www.gibsidehotel.co.uk) at Wickham, 4 miles south of Newcastle. Facilities include location at centre of historic village, Paco’s restaurant that offers a high standard of cuisine, panoramic views over the Tyne Valley, en suite rooms. The price p/p is £579 (with a single room supplement of£99) to include all coach travel from Clitheroe and return, and a Blue Badge Guide on days 2-5. Excluded are entrance fees, gratuities and optional boat trip. There are 35 places available.
